Sad news. Tom McNichol

I'm sad to tell you that the Charles River community has lost a friend. Tom McNichol, founder of the clean-up boat, has passed away after a battle with cancer.  See information below.

A wake will be held for Tom McNichol at the Norton Funeral Home at 53 Beech Street in Framingham on Saturday, November 18 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  A small blessing will be held during the wake at noon.

Hi Kate - Due to the predicted COLD weather tomorrow (Saturday, Nov 11), the Foot / Tail races have been moved later in the morning.  Here are the start times:

Starting at MIT:
10:00AM  -  Men's Varsity 4+  (27 entered)
11:00AM   -  Women's Varsity 8+  (19 entered)
11:15AM   -  Men's Varsity 8+ (22 entered)
Starting at Riverside:
11:30AM  -  Women's Varsity 4+ (10 entered)
11:45AM  -  Women's Varsity 8+ (11 entered)

The women's races end at the HOCR finish line.
The men's races end at Newell BH.

November 11, 2017 - The Foot and The Tail of the Charles will be run together this Saturday, Nov 11.  
Race Schedule:
8:00AM  - Men's Varsity 4+
8:30AM  - Women's Varsity 8+
9:30AM  - Men's Open 8+
9:45AM  - Women's Varsity 4+
10:00AM - Women's Novice 8+

The start line for all races is the MIT Boathouse.  The finish line is Newell Boathouse, except the 8:30AM women's 8+ will race to the HOCR Finish Line.
