Be advised that the good folks at the dcr let us know that work will commense on Weeks Bridge starting tomorrow. The Cambridge arch will be closed as part of this phase of work. This results in no change to the traffic pattern though Powerboaters should be aware that rowers only have the center arch as an option when rowing upstream. Rowers are reminded that powerboaters appropriately use the center arch of Weeks (and most) bridges bidirectionaly in accordance with Coast Guard regulations and to follow the channel in the river. All boaters should use caution.
