What's Happening on the Charles

 

CRAB   We nearly at the end of the season folks.  Let's end it safe and sound. Calendar Saturday, November 14 9:00AM.  Women's Foot of the Charles.  Course change due to projected high winds.   The Varsity 8 race, which will start at 9AM, is from Riverside Boat Club to the North Beacon St. Bridge The Novice 8 and Open 4 races, 9:30 and 9:45 starts, will remain on the same course:  Riverside Boat Club to Head of the Charles finish line.   We will be setting buoys around most of the corners and will have many safety launches on the water but please warm folks on the river to be careful from 9-10:15 AM Sunday, Novembeer 15 8:00AM  Men's Foot of the Charles.  From MIT Boathouse (just upstream of the Mass Ave Bridge) to Weld Boathouse (just upstream of Anderson Bridge).  Again, the novice event is fantastic.
