Hello sports fans!
Just when you thought things would slow down on the river, we still have several events to get through before the fall boating season comes to a close. There is only one formal event this weekend and it is not large but it is important. Please notify your memberships and/or coaches and ask them to adjust their launch, landing and training plans to accomodate this event. Thanks for your coorperation.
SATURDAY, October 27th
The Seven Sisters Regatta: 9AM to 11AM, Racing from the 2k start line (just above Longfellow Bridge) to Riverside Boat Club (just below River St. Bridge). There will be marshalls on the course. Only 5 of the 7 schools will participate this year (Smith, Mt. Holyoke, Wellesley, Bryn Mawr, hosted by Simmons) with less than 24 boats total racing over 4 events including novice. All teams will be launching from Riverside Boat Club.
