CRAB Quiet days as much of the Rowers are away at Canadian Henley.  Bridge Work continues at Anderson and Longfellow (apparently that Longfellow work has been extended for a few more years....) and dock work also continues in a few locations: Northeastern U.  Keep your eyes open for a barge assisting with this work. Riverside Boat Club.  New docks going in soon.  During construction, steer wide and keep your eyes open for long lines waiting to dock at peak times.  Also, watch for a new dock configuration appearing soon that may require adjustments to your usual course.   Events on the Horizon  Saturday, August 22, 2015 The Red Bull High Stakes Regatta, course is just downstream of Riverside's dock.  This is a stake race (read, boats rounding a stake), 250M each way, 500M total - just enough room for a start, turn and sprint to the finish - swim portion optional.  This may be the single greatest spectator regatta of all time for the sheer chaos of it.     Find much more info at the CRAB website at www . CharlesRiverAllianceofBoater s . org
